What Expenses does
- Staff claim back money they paid for the business — category, date, amount and a photo of the receipt, from the web app or the till
- A manager or accountant approves or rejects each claim, then pays it back in cash or by bank; the expense is recorded on the day it was paid, and only the org admin may approve their own claim
- Expense claims can go through your approval rules by amount, with up to three levels
- Petty cash funds for each branch, each with its own cash account: top up from the till or the bank, spend with a voucher and receipt photo, and count the cash — a voucher can never take more than the box holds
- Recurring bills such as rent, internet or a yearly licence: each month, quarter or year the bill waits until someone pays it or skips it
- Expense categories you name yourself, each recorded in the expense account you choose
Expenses works on the same customers, products, stock and accounts as every other Nexa One module, in every branch, on the web, the Android app and the Windows desktop app.
